March 17-18 cooking, camping & hiking event

March 17-18, 2023 will be a joint pack & troop one-night camping, cooking, and hiking event to allow Cub Scouts, especially AOLs, to complete Adventures required for their rank.

LEAVE:

Friday, March 17th at 5 p.m. from Harrison Church and camp at Mc Dowell Nature Preserve at Drive-in Sites 2,4,6,8.

Cub Scout Parents please RSVP on Pack 502 WhatsApp group.

Email Mr. Fisher at sm@troop502.com if you need an invite to the group.

This is an opportunity for Cub Scouts who have missed a few meetings to complete the below Adventures that their Dens have done at the last campout and at Den Meetings since August. All Cub Scouts will do nature observation and a hike (Webelos/AOLs 3+ miles, Bears & Wolves 1+ mile). The Nature Preserve also offers good options to hunt for and hopefully find one or more of the dozens of geocaches or six letterboxes in the park.
