ACTION ITEM! Bring to Tonight’s Cub Scout Meeting today, Monday 10/10 at 7-8pm at Harrison Church

We are progressing towards our first overnight camping trip.

At our first meeting, we reviewed nutrition and hydration. If you were not able to attend, we did a pretty cool duct tape water bottle holder.  If you would like to use colorful duct tapes to make your own, please let Mr. Fisher know.

Last Meeting, we reviewed Outdoor Code for Cub Scouts and Leave No Trace principles for Kids. Lions (K) and Tigers (1st Gr) did a nature walk and Wolves, Bears, Webelos and AOLs set up tents.

Tonight, we are going to introduce and review The Cub Scout Six (6) essentials ) including personal first aid kits and camping gear.

We ask that you BRING THE FOLLOWING TONIGHT:

  1. a zip lock baggie for your cub scouts’ personal first aid kit
  2. whatever items on the PERSONAL CAMPING GEAR CHECKLIST (left-hand column of the Gear List & Cub Scout 6 Essentials) that you currently have at home. Please do not go out and buy anything.
