Camping Information

When camping with Pack 502 and Cub Scouts there are a few things to know:

1. Camping 101: this is a list of items as well as rules of engagement for all families.

2. Health forms: You must have a complete, up-to-date (not expired) health form with proof of health insurance and an immunization record on file with the committee to camp.  Email Kelly Keiter with a completed pdf or be sure to bring with you to camp site.  If you do not have a complete health form you will not be allowed to camp until you have one.

3. Youth Protection Training: This is required for all adults attending the camping weekend – regardless if you are a leader or not.  Training is online, available in English and Spanish and is 25 minutes long. To take the training, create an account and then click on the Youth Protection Training icon in the upper right corner of the site.  We are unit 0502. A completion certificate can be printed out and emailed once it is completed.  The certification is good for two years; you can check if your training is still valid by logging into your account online.  We must have a copy of this certificate on file to camp.  You will not be allowed to camp until we have proof of training for each adult attending on file.

4. We need volunteers to help take gear from the church to the camp site.  We need help bringing firewood, stove, gear, etc.  Contact John Keiter (Webelos Den Co-Leader) or Harry Kaiser (Arrow of Light Den Co-Leader) to help.

Have fun!!!
