Save the date: Scouts Camp!

Please save the dates for the following summer camp opportunities for scouts:

Cub Scout Day Camp (Rising Wolves and Bears): Mon 6/20 – Fri 6/24.

Webelos Overnight Camp (Rising Webelos and Arrows of Light): Thurs 7/14 – Sun 7/1.

These camps are a great enhancement to any scouts experience.  If your scout is getting ‘tired’ of den meetings, camping is a great adventure that will capture his interest and motivate him to do more exploring outside.

Notes:

Parents who sign their scouts up for Cub Scout day camp must commit to also volunteering for one day chaperone during the week.

At Webelos Camp, the scout is more independent than at Cub Scout camp, meaning he stays overnight  without his parents.  We will have two adults out there – one of which is a den leader – but will need additional parents to volunteer to stay overnight.
