National Summertime Pack Award events: Sunday 7/27 and Saturday 8/16

You have two upcoming events to mark in your calendars as part of Pack 502’s support of the National Summertime Pack Award*:

July event: this coming Sunday 7/27 at 4pm – 5:30pm

  • Where: at the playground/park at Blakeney Shopping Center (at the corner of Rea Rd. and Ardrey Kell Rd).
  • What: Meet at the playground with your Class B orange shirt (or other orange t-shirt if you don’t have a Class B) to run around and have fun!
  • Feel free to bring a snack if you want for yourself, or you can purchase food at Brixx, Starbucks or any of the other restaurants around.
  • We want to show everyone how much fund Pack 502 has together!!

August event: Saturday 8/16 at 10am – 2pm

  • Where: Harrison UMC field
  • What: Pack 502 Fun Day with games (corn hold, kick ball, water balloons, etc), fun, food and friends

*National Summertime Pack Award: This award is given to those scouts who continue to be active and engaged when school is out.  Specifically, the pack organizes one activity per month during June, July and August and the scouts attend and get credit for the Pack activity.

FYI #3 – We are going to be sending out a calendar-at-a-glance in the next week so you can plan on upcoming Pack activities – keep at eye out!
